Welcome to Truro School of Samba

Co founded by Emma Skilton (artistic director) and Sean Hooper (musical director) Truro School of Samba have been entertaining crowds throughout Cornwall since 2005.Inspired by Rio's magnificent carnival and the rhythms of Brazil the spectacular dancers are accompanied by the infectious rhythms of the band.

We regularly perform at festivals, parties and events throughout the year such as Truro Carnival, Respect Festival, Fal River Festival and City of Lights.

Truro School of Samba aims to promote, support and develop percussion-based music, dance and related carnival arts in the community.
We welcome new members who want to join the samba school: both drummers and dancers at all levels.
