Truro City of Lights
We are proud to head this amazing event each November in Truro.
When the city of Truro sees a dazzling procession of withy and tissue lanterns float through the streets, handmade and carried by professional artists, Cornish school children and local community and youth groups.
Each year a new theme is chosen for the festival, we take great care to make costumes that reflect this and choreograph a new routine to lead the parade through the streets of Truro.
To accompany the dancers Sean composes a new samba for the band that in previous years included parts for Cornish pipers and brass sections.
We are keen to encourage more dance and music in the parade.
In 2011 Emma did workshops with some of the participating schools to help them with simple dance steps they could repeat during the parade.
Sean is involved with many of the school bands that perform on the night and as a member of the board of Directors has been instrumental in maintaining the high standard and variety of musicians that come to perform at the event each year.
